We are excited to have Rhyan Buettner- Desmaret join us for our August meeting!
Rhyan was featured in the Echo Press, Duluth News Tribune and KARE 11 when she and her family were fighting to flee the violence in Haiti. She refused to leave three of her Haitian adopted children behind to bring herself, husband and two biological children to Minnesota safely. Her story of service, courage, gratitude and persistence is truly inspiring!
Rhyan is also the founder of Middle Ground Haiti which provides services and support to children and families of children suffering from malnutrition. To learn more about their work, click here.
