Scholarships
Scholarship application deadline: April 30, 2025.
A scholarship to a child, grandchild or dependent of a member of our organization that is continuing their education.
Scholarship deadline was April 30, 2025.
The following criteria apply:
- Member must have been a member for a minimum of one year in the LAPW at time of application.
- Member must be the parent, legal guardian, step-parent or grandparent of student making application
- Degree path leads to a minimum of a 2 year degree or beyond
A scholarship to a member of our organization who is continuing her education.

The following criteria apply:
- Minimum of one-year membership in LAPW at time of application
- Scholarships are awarded for associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s degree tuition and new certifications only.
- Member may only receive the scholarship one time.
- Involvement in LAPW and/or other community projects

Scholarships are awarded to graduating high school seniors.
Scholarships are awarded to seniors from area high schools including Alexandria, Minnewaska, Osakis, West Central Area, Brandon/Evansville, Sauk Centre, and Parkers Prairie.
